I am working with a Primary School in the BS41 area of North Somerset who is looking for KS1 teacher from Term 5. This school is a 2 form entry with a warm sense of community thriving in developing the curiosity of children's learning of the world around them.

They have high expectations of pupils’ behaviour to ensure all children are able to meet their full potential; both in their learning and personal development.

The Role

This position being offered by the school is a full time opportunity on a long-term basis from Term 5 covering Maternity Leave.

The school is looking for kind, energetic individuals who has previous experience working within a KS1 classroom with great phonics knowledge.

If you are an experienced teacher or an ECT, this role is a good fit for you!

You will be expected to:

  • Support each pupil through differentiation.

  • Work with other teachers to plan exciting activities and lessons.

  • Communicate clearly with parents and other KS1 staff members.

  • Be aware of safeguarding - keeping everyone in your care safe

  • Take part in school extra curricular activities; including school trips.
