Reed is supporting a dynamic national law firm with the hire of a Legal PA to join on a part time, permanent basis in Central Bristol.

Seeking a candidate to work 21 hours per week, flexible on how you work those hours across the working week. Offering hybrid working, with 2 days to be office based.

The role offers a dynamic work environment where you will support high-level stakeholders within the legal sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal support, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Salary:

£29,000 - £31,000 full time equivalent (£17,400 - £18,600 pro rata)

Duties:

  • Coordinate multiple complex email inboxes and busy diaries, proactively managing time and priorities to align with individual and firm objectives.
  • Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with appropriate discretion.
  • Provide effective gatekeeping to the Director of Legal and Commercial Risk, focusing on forward planning and scheduling to anticipate needs and mitigate potential issues.
  • Support legal document production and amendments, ensuring adherence to house style and demonstrating attention to detail.
  • Manage and coordinate travel itineraries and expenses, including booking trains, flights, and accommodation.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings and appointments, prepare papers and agendas, attend meetings, and take minutes as needed.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities to meet business requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in PA roles, preferably managing complex and confidential diaries and emails for multiple senior-level stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in a legal environment, with a strong understanding of legal documentation.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work proactively, think ahead, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and confidence in decision-making.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Teams, SharePoint, iManage or similar document management systems, and document compare platforms.
