PURCHASE LEDGER

Signature are delighted to be recruiting for a Purchase Ledger to join our client, a small environmental organisation based in Portishead on a temporary basis, starting ASAP for 4 - 5 weeks.

Joining a small dedicated team, you will be assisting the finance manager, overseeing invoices and raising queries with clients and suppliers. There is also the opportunity to get involved in projects with other areas of the business such as internal communication and social media.

Salary and Benefits:

Basic salary of £12.50 per hour plus holiday pay

5 days in the office 9am - 4pm

Structured training and onboarding processes

Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring your own ledger of accounts to resolve queries and record information in regard to invoices.

Uploading invoices on a weekly basis, reconciling to be authorised for payment through SAGE

Manning the email account for the department and escalating any outstanding payment queries.

Responding to telephone and email queries for the department in a timely manner.

Requirements:

An understanding of Purchase Ledger / Accounts payable

Strong attention to detail

Excellent organisation skills with a proactive approach to work

This is a full time, temporary position working 35 hours per week Monday-Friday (9am - 4pm) 5 days per week in the office, offering £12.50 per hour plus holiday pay.
