gap personnel are operating as an employment business and currently looking to recruit VNA Drivers for a luxury beauty company based in Avonmouth.

The primary purposes of this role are to ensure that inbound goods are correctly received, stored and the replenishment of picking locations is completed in an efficient and timely manner. With your exceptional organisational skills and keen attention to detail, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Goods In; To ensure all deliveries are processed according to warehouse procedures - receiving, logging, and checking stock items delivered:
  • Unloading deliveries safely and in a timely manner
  • Completion of a delivery checklist
  • Delivery discrepancies double checked and reported to the supervisor for reconciliation.
  • Batches and expiry dates are checked, and goods processed accordingly.
  • Storage of stock and non-stock items for ease of identification and traceability for immediate use while implementing batch controls (FEFO)
  • Transferring stock from Goods In to Bulk storage
  • Ensuring the Bulk storage WMS is kept up to date with all stock movements.
  • Complete periodic Bulk and picking location checks to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Reserving stock
  • Batches report completed monthly detailing expiry dates of products.
  • Consolidation of stock to save pallet spaces.
  • Provide cover for Goods Out; To ensure all consignments for dispatch are processed according to warehouse procedures:
  • Retail orders are checked against manual delivery notes.
  • Next day deliveries are accurately logged on the carrier manifest.
  • Final reconciliation of shipments are carried out at the end of the day.
  • Consignment discrepancies are double checked and reported to the Supervisor.
  • Ensure goods are only dispatched with the relevant paperwork.
  • Load carrier vehicles and obtain signature from the carrier.

Duties to also include;

  • Bulk picking and checking for large customer orders.
  • Bulk picks for in house kit production fulfilment.
  • Immediate replenishment of the pick face to maintain targeted customer order service levels.
  • Assisting with ad hoc and formal stock takes.
  • Regular maintenance and record keeping for the company material handling equipment.
  • Carry out other warehouse duties as required by the Operations Team Leader. Including stock takes.
  • Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organised, and safe at all times.

The Candidates

  • VNA Inhouse or accredited licence / FLT Counterbalance licence
  • Previous warehouse experience or line work experience desired
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift and carry, experience with Manual Handling
  • Must be able to provide 2 references
