HGV Class 2 Driver

Monday to Friday [occasional weekend work 'optional']
Rate 15 per hour
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group as a Class 2 Driver and start working towards a PERMANENT position with one of our most trusted Clients.
Driver Responsibilities:
Driving a Class 2 Fridge Unit - local deliveries of boxed chilled meats to High Street Butchers by handball.
Driver requirements and skills:
* You MUST be in possession of a HGV Class 2 (C) license, and valid Driver CPC & DIGI Cards.
* You MUST have held your Class 2 licence for a MIN of 6 months.
* Motoring convictions starting with the code SP for speeding offences are acceptable, up to a max. of 6 points. NB: no other endorsements / convictions are acceptable.
* Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, enthusiastic, and resilient - are welcomed attributes in this role.
* Multi-drop experience is a MUST as this role requires up to 10 drop a day.
* Handball will be required in this role
Driver Key Information and Benefits:
* Weekly pay [during the 16 week temp to Perm period].
* FREE onsite parking
* Rate 15.00 per hour + 28 day's holiday pay
* 5 am start time
* Ave shift length 9.5 hours
* Up to 10 drops per shift
* Monday to Friday [optional Saturdays when overtime will be paid]
* Ave. hours per shift - up to 15
