MPJ Recruitment are proud to be working with a UK leading business based in the Bristol area.

We are currently looking to expand our Property Claims Division by adding a valued leader to the team. We're looking for a passionate property claims individual who is either currently working at management level or an individual who has the skills and attributes to move into a team manager level role.

Property Claims Team Manager Key Skills:

  • Excellent degree of knowledge of Property related claims and principles
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to coach and mentor
  • Demonstrate personal and professional integrity, and act as a role model by leading by example
  • Ability to work and contribute positively as part of a team and in isolation
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure, adhering to deadlines and service standards

Property Claims Team Manager role:

  • To demonstrate a high level of technical quality, accuracy, and service delivery
  • To manage the day-to-day operations of the team at the Bristol office
  • To provide exceptional customer service at all times and adhere by best practice
  • To participate positively and constructively as a team member, sharing knowledge and providing feedback and suggestions
  • To communicate effectively and proactively with all relevant parties by the most effective and expeditious means, prioritising the use of telephone contact, ensuring that claims are proactively managed
  • To work closely with the other team managers to ensure service is delivered to the highest possible standard
  • To promote and support the TCF principles
  • To ensure team adherence to contractual/Client SLA’s and KPI’s
  • To be accountable for the satisfactory resolution of any issues and complaints
  • To assist with ensuring that monthly productivity targets are achieved, and fee outputs are in line with budgetary requirements
  • To participate in client liaison, development, and account management
  • To produce, interrogate and analyse management information to identify trends, failures, and recommend improvements in service and delivery
  • To hold monthly team meetings in person and via Teams, promoting open dialogue within the team
  • To carry out individual quarterly 1-2-1’s and document feedback for on-going development and performance, and ensuring key objectives are being met
