An opportunity has arisen for a Gas Engineer / Boiler Engineer with 3 years of experience to join a well-established firm of heating engineers. This role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £38,000 - £40,000. The role involve covering the areas of Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, and Wiltshire.

As a Gas Engineer / Boiler Engineer, you will be performing gas safety inspections and servicing gas appliances in private and social housing properties. Experience in renewables beneficial, but applicants must be willing to upskill (training provided).

You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting reactive maintenance on boilers and heating systems.
  • Managing your company vehicle, maintaining cleanliness and appropriate stock levels.
  • Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota to meet customer expectations.
  • Adhering strictly to health and safety standards, including completing basic risk assessments.

What we are looking for:

  • Previously worked as a Gas Engineer, Heating Engineer, Boiler Engineer, Gas and Heating Engineer, Service Engineer, Domestic Gas Engineer or in a similar role.
  • At least 3 years of experience with domestic heating systems, fault finding, and central heating controls.
  • Accredited qualifications, including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, and HTR1.
  • Unvented hot water systems (G3 certification).
  • Basic understanding of essential heating system controls, electrics, and wiring.
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional and respectful approach.
  • Ideally have experience in heat-pumps (air & ground source) and solar thermal systems.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
