What You'll Be Doing:Join our client's team as a Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer and play a key role in supporting safe and effective medicine management across inpatient and outpatient services. In this role, you will:

  • Assist in dispensing, packing, and labelling of medicines

  • Support ward top-ups and supply of stock medicines across hospital sites

  • Handle stock control, rotation, goods receipt, and expiry date monitoring

  • Maintain a tidy and well-equipped dispensary

  • Assist with answering calls and handling internal/external stock queries

  • Support and help train new staff and students once competent

  • Work closely with pharmacy technicians and senior staff to ensure high-quality service delivery

Requirements & Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Pharmacy Services or PWDS BTEC Level 2 Certificate

  • Previous experience in hospital or retail pharmacy

  • Good understanding of stock control and dispensing procedures

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A caring and helpful attitude with attention to detail

  • Willingness to undertake further pharmacy training

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:00 with a 30-minute break. The contract is ongoing with strong potential for extension based on performance and service needs.
