Start: AsapRate of pay: £12.85 p/hLocation: Bristol School, BS16Contract: Part-time, PermanentI am working with aBristol school that is recruiting a Science Technician to work as part of aScience team within the school. You will ensure that equipment in thedepartment is stored safely, help maintain sufficient supplies of materials andundertake record keeping. You'll be part of a collaborative team of technicianswho enable students to achieve their very best.Responsibilities:
- Look after equipment in the department and ensure that it is kept safe and secure
- Undertake basic record keeping
- Maintain supplies of materials
- Help students within a Science lesson
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 year's experience in a Science based school setting
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and the type of materials you would use in one
- Great organisational and communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
- An Enhanced DBS is required for this role
