About the Role

In your first year, you'll manage existing projects and build on established relationships. Your ability to leverage your network in the southwest will be key to generating additional revenue, complementing the strong foundation the company already provides.

You'll lead an eager, small-to-medium team, providing guidance to further enhance their success. Early on, you'll have the autonomy to grow the team, with full access to the firm's vast resources. However, your independence in making strategic decisions will be respected and supported.

By the second year, you'll be in a strong position to drive the expansion of the company's portfolio in sectors relevant to the Bristol planning market of your choice.

  • UK based private Planning sector experience

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as an Associate Director or Director of Town Planning, ideally with a background in the Bristol/Southwest market (but candidates with experience in other UK regions will also be considered).
  • In-depth knowledge of the planning landscape in Bristol and its surrounding areas, including local planning policies and procedures.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A track record in business development and building relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
  • A passion for sustainable urban development and delivering high-quality planning solutions.
  • Experience across various planning sectors, with specialization welcomed.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
