Join a leading trust management firm that has been a significant player in the industry since 2020. With a portfolio managing nearly £2 billion of assets, our experienced team is looking to expand by adding a Senior Compliance Officer. This role is crucial for ensuring the company's compliance with regulatory requirements and for supporting the development and maintenance of internal policies and procedures.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Conduct compliance monitoring reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Assist in the development of the Annual Compliance Monitoring Plan and enhance Compliance Monitoring Procedures.
  • Provide compliance advisory support to the business on regulatory obligations and internal processes.
  • Monitor changes in the business and regulatory environment to assess impacts and adjust compliance strategies accordingly.
  • Support the maintenance and review of Compliance policies and relevant procedural documents.
  • Engage in new business reviews, sign-offs, and CDD reviews of ID&V on individuals and Corporate Entities.
  • Assist in maintaining a high-risk jurisdiction list and participate in ad-hoc projects or tasks as requested.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in a compliance role within FCA regulated and/or financial services business, including Trusts, SRA regulated business.
  • Degree level qualification.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to operate under pressure.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude, reliable, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and good time management.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and adapt flexibly to different tasks.
