Sonic Summary

Pertemps is partnering with the Royal Mail to recruit Postal Delivery Workers in Bristol South (BS3) and Bristol South East (BS4) due to increased demand.
The role requires working 5 days a week between 8am and 8pm, with an hourly rate of £13.37, increasing to £14.49 on Sundays and £15.68 for overtime after 40 hours.
Candidates should be upbeat, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team, with a strong sense of community.
Some customer-facing or delivery experience is preferred but not essential, and a full UK manual driving license with a maximum of 6 penalty points is required.
A full DBS security check will be conducted prior to employment, and applicants can contact Pertemps for further information.

Due to an increase in demand, Pertemps are working in partnership with the Royal Mail to source Postal Delivery Workers to support with their busy operation.

Locations: Bristol South (BS3) or Bristol South East (BS4)
Hours: Working hours between 8am-8pm
Shift: 5 days per week between Monday – Sunday.
Hourly Rate: £13.37 per hour PAYE
Sundays £14.49 per hour
Overtime after 40 hours worked £15.68 per hour
Bank Holidays £18.81 per hour

About the Postal Delivery Worker roleYou'll start your day in the local delivery office, sorting and gathering the mail needed for your route. You will collect your allocated vehicle or trolley and your hand-held computer device (detailing your route and tracking your mail) and then deliver the letters and parcels to your local community.About You

The ideal candidate for this role will be upbeat, self-motivated, and happy to work alone as well as part of a team.
You will be helpful and approachable displaying a strong sense of community, as you get to know the people you meet on your round.
Royal Mail deliver parcels whatever the weather, so you will enjoy working outdoors and due to the amount of walking required you will need to be relatively fit and healthy.
You will be smartly presented, always acting in a professional and courteous manner.

Previous Experience

Some previous experience in a customer facing or delivery role would be ideal but not essential.
You will be required to complete a full DBS security check prior to commencing work.
Driving licence requirements
A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address)
Maximum 6 penalty points
