We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a fabulous Primary School in the BS48 area of North Somerset.

This is a Full-Time position covering MAT leave.

This Primary School is a 2 form entry school who have a desire to ensure all children have a positive impact on their learning by accessing an adaptable curriculum.

Your New Role:

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Teacher to make a meaningful impact on young learners while working within a supportive school environment.

As our KS1 Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and Deliver engaging, creative, and age-appropriate lessons to KS1 pupils.

  • Support and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Collaborate with other members of staff to ensure all children are able to access the curriculum.

  • Use effective assessment strategies to support and extend children’s learning.

  • Provide high-quality feedback to support pupils’ academic and personal growth.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or have prior experience teaching and delivering whole class lessons.

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.

  • Be committed to nurturing a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

  • Show flexibility and adaptability, able to engage with various classes and year groups.

  • Possess excellent communication skills, building relationships with both children and staff.
