Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS1 Class Teacher to join the team at a wonderful Primary School on the outskirts of Weston-Super-Mare.

The Role

As a successful candidate, you will be expected to work on a full-time basis in their KS1 class.

The Head Teacher is looking for someone with prior knowledge or experience working within a KS1 classroom, You must bring a nurturing and calm environment to the classroom to ensure the children feel safe.

You will be expected to:

  • Use your initiative to adapt activities to meet the needs of the children.

  • Have high expectations for the individual to succeed.

  • Have excellent Phonics knowledge.

  • Create a safe environment for the pupil to learn at their own pace.

  • Manage and support the child’s needs.

  • Be adaptable with the learning opportunities.
