Your new companyHays Education are currently recruiting for reliable and adaptable Key Stage 1 specialists to work at Primary School's in the Brislington area. This role is based in Key Stage 1 and can be teaching Reception, Year 1 or Year 2. This role will be suited to someone who is passionate about the early stages of primary school teaching with excellent interventions experience including but not limited to phonics and numeracy. Hays Education has various teaching opportunities with our Partnership Schools across the South Bristol area. These opportunities are on a permanent, long term or daily supply cover basis. Due to an increase in demand from schools in your local area we are looking for experiences primary teachers to take up the multiple positions we have available. With Hays, you can update your availability using our Hays Hub and accept work through the Hub without having to call your consultant every time to accept work. Your new roleYou will have the opportunity to work in a role that is flexible around your needs and teaching style. Working for Hays Education will enable you to work on a full time or part time basis to suit your commitments. The school's will be looking for someone with strong behaviour management skills as the class will have a mixture of varying abilities; the role is open to strong ECT's. As well as day to day classroom abilities, the successful candidate will be willing and open to become a part of the school's culture and embed themselves within the team even if for up to a week's work. The work may become regular on a weekly basis where many of our partnership schools in South Bristol have the same supply needs week in and week out. There may be some marking, planning and other responsibilities involved which will be negotiated with the school before you start so that you can be remunerated appropriately.   • You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 5 years.
  • Experience in teaching Key Stage 1 is preferred.
  • Eligible to work in the UK
