The Role:As a Primary Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the education and development of young students. Your responsibilities include:

  • Deliver High-Quality Lessons: Plan and teach engaging, creative lessons in line with the national curriculum for students in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on your experience and placement.
  • Student Development: Foster a supportive and stimulating learning environment where each student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Regularly assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents, adapting your teaching methods to support individual learning needs.
  • Classroom Management: Ensure a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment by applying effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Curriculum Enhancement: Participate in the development of innovative teaching resources and strategies to enhance learning experiences.
  • Parental Engagement: Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their child's progress and collaborating on any areas of concern.
  • Extra-curricular Involvement: Encourage student participation in school events and activities to enrich their educational experience.

Requirements:

  • Teaching Qualifications: Must hold QTS/PGCE and have relevant experience teaching in a primary school setting.
