This provision specifically supports children across age groups (4-19) with complex SEMH needs.Responsibilities:

Lead the school’s overall vision and strategy
Oversee design and implementation of an inclusive, engaging and accessible curriculum
Drive continuous improvement of the school, implementing effective curriculum models and strategies to enhance learning outcomes and achieve ‘Outstanding’ ratings
Motivate, support and develop staff – Fostering a collaborative and positive working environment that prioritises both student and staff wellbeing

Key requirements:

Experience as a Head Teacher in a Specialist provision (In particular, supporting young people with ASC and Speech, Language and Communication needs)
Thorough understanding of the Independent School Standards and Ofsted regulations
Experience providing high standards of care for young people with additional needs
Strong understanding of curriculum design and development
Experience in school improvement – Particularly in monitoring staff practices and implementing CPD to drive standards.
Proven track record of building strong relationships with internal staff and external stakeholders
Qualified Teacher Status
