We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Supply Primary Teacher to join our team, ready to step in and provide high-quality education across various primary school settings in and around Bristol. This role requires someone who thrives in dynamic environments, is comfortable managing a variety of subjects and year groups, and can confidently maintain the continuity of learning when regular teachers are unavailable.
Key Responsibilities:
* As a Supply Primary Teacher, in Bristol you will deliver engaging and effective lessons across different year groups, following the national curriculum.* Quickly adapt to new classroom settings and build positive relationships with students.* Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.* Mark and assess students' work when required, providing constructive feedback.* Collaborate with school staff to support student learning and well-being.* Maintain a professional and flexible approach to accommodate the needs of different schools and students.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.* Previous experiance as a Supply Primary Teacher is highly desirable.* Strong understanding of the primary national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.* Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport. * A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching, with availability for early morning calls for same-day assignments in Bristol.* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
