A friendly and welcoming school in the BS35 area of Bristol are currently looking for a Year 3 Class Teacher to join their team.

This 2 form entry school holds high standards towards inclusion, ensuring all pupils feel happy and safe in their learning environment. You will be joining a team of strong and supportive staff members dedicated to providing a curriculum that prepares children for their next stage.

The Role

Starting in January, you will be working as a Year 3 Teacher, working alongside a KS2 specialist teaching assistant in a class of 30 pupils.

This is a full time position with the requirement for both planning and attendance to staff meetings.

The Head Teacher is looking for someone with great behaviour management skills as they have high standards towards the children attending their school.

You will be expected to:

  • Hold great knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.

  • Ability to differentiate lessons well to ensure everyone is able to access the learning.

  • Create an engaging learning environment

  • Communicate well with other Year 3 Teachers.

  • Plan and Deliver high quality lessons to inspire and motivate
