A 2 form entry Primary School in the BS20 area of Bristol is looking for a Year 4 Teacher from Easter Holidays until the Summer to cover MAT leave.

The staff at the school work together to provide a secure foundation based on values, nurture and challenge so that children are well prepared for the next part of their journey.

The Role

This role is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, term time only.

As a 2 form entry school, you will need to be strong in communication and bring your own ideas to the Lower KS2 team, The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who has great KS2 curriculum knowledge and is a great team player, always willing to support other staff members and be flexible to adapt lessons to meet the children's needs.

You will be expected to:

  • Be passionate about working with children and making a positive impact.

  • Have prior experience working in KS2.

  • Put children’s well-being at the heart of your delivery.

  • Be warm, empathetic and positive, building relationships with children and carers.

  • Be flexible, reliable and communicate clearly.
