Your new school

This Bristol Primary school is in search of a Teaching assistant who specialises in SEND children to join their team from the start of term 5, working full-time in key Stage 1 and one-on-one with specific children. The school is located just outside the centre of Bristol with bus routes nearby and a car park on the school's site. This school is looking for a hard-working TA who will take on this job and have an exciting time whilst doing so.

Your new role

Specialising in the SEND sector will give you further insight into children's lives that require a little bit more support. Working with an amazing team of teachers and staff alike, there are two classes in the year group, and you will be specifically with one of the two. You will be a part of the community by playing an active role in the development of these children. You will be creating new ways for them to learn and grow through different methods and one-to-ones.Requirements to succeed in your new role

  • Relative Teaching assistant experience within the last two years
  • Two working references from your two most recent jobs that apply some relevance
  • Previous experience with young SEND children is desirable.
  • Previous experience with younger (key stage 1 aged) children
