What We're Looking For as a School Mental Health Assistant:
- Educational Background: A degree in Psychology or a related field is preferred. Previous experience with SEN is highly desirable, particularly for Criminology and Psychology graduates.
- Passion for Mental Health: A strong interest in mental health, particularly in relation to SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.
- Understanding of SEN: A keen interest or understanding of the diverse learning and behavioural needs within an SEN setting.
