Senior Assistant (9 hours a week)

Salary: £15 per hour.

Job Overview:

As a Senior Assistant, your contribution to the growth and overall performance of the centres will be vital. The job encompasses teaching and learning objectives and aims to enrich both the student’s and the instructor’s experience.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Instructing students according to their study and ability requirements, following the Kumon method. On the job training will be provided.
  • Communicating with parents including giving feedback after lessons, gathering information and communicating with instructors.
  • Receiving and handing over work and students, as required.
  • Marking and recording student work - including Class Navi.
  • Work pulling as per instructor’s instructions.
  • Provide quarterly progress charts and feedback to parents.
  • Complete Kumon diagnostic tests with potential Kumon students as and when required.
  • Understanding the Centre policies, with regards to Risk, Health and Safety and putting them into practice
  • Ensuring all medical forms for students are completed and up to date.
  • Ensure regular compliance checks are carried out.

Skills: Essential: GCSE Maths and English

Desirable: A Level or above Maths and English

Full UK Driving Licence: Essential

DBS Check Essential on acceptance of role
