INTERACTION RECRUITMENT IS CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR A PDI INSPECTOR IN FISHPONDS IMMEDIATE START!

This a full-time permanent vacancy. The role is based on site in Fishponds Bristol, working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm. A full UK driving license is required with a maximum of 6 points for insurance purposes.

Purpose:

As PDI Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles are built to the correct specification, record and document all faults found by type and number.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of new vehicles in accordance with PDI schedules for Client Fleets
  • Diagnose and report any defects on these vehicles.
  • Ensure that all repair documents are completed as required
  • Carry out PDI's / safety checks / levels checks and bodywork inspection on all types of vehicles
  • Constructive liaison with workshop team members and working to deadlines
  • Work with Logistics on vehicle collections and deliveries
  • Support with introducing effective methods of inspection for both in-process build checks and final PDI checks, eliminating risk and improving throughput.
  • Ensure vans and trucks meet the correct VCA and CoP standards - in the case of failure support the PDI team leader on containment/quarantine, reporting and corrective measures. 
  • Be able to maintain a high level of efficiency

Qualifications and skills:

  • Highly motivated with a strong focus on quality
  • Brand experience is preferable, however, manufacturer training will be supplied
  • Experience of driving both manual and automatic vehicles
