Quality Engineer

ARCA Resourcing is excited to be recruiting for a Quality Engineer on behalf of an innovative and rapidly growing engineering company that is revolutionising the automotive and motorsport simulator industry. With cutting-edge technology and a commitment to excellence, our client delivers state-of-the-art motion simulation solutions to high-profile customers in motorsport and vehicle development.

The Role

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality of advanced driving simulators and motion generators. You will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure all products meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve quality issues using non-conformance procedures.
  • Conduct in-house inspections of materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Develop inspection templates and procedures for components.
  • Review and assess supplier inspection and technical documentation.
  • Manage supplier quality through site visits and performance monitoring.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing and inspection processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and build teams to integrate quality control measures into production.
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports by analysing and summarising key information and trends.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 0 - 3 years’ experience in Engineering, ideally in automotive, aerospace, or high-tech industries.
  • Proven experience managing supplier relationships and enforcing quality standards.
  • Strong background in continuous improvement processes and methodologies.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
