Quality Inspector

A Quality Inspector position has become available within a well-established organisation that manufacturers high precision machined components for various industries. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company that values precision, quality, and innovation. The company is looking to strengthen its pre-existing QC team with a new member. You will be reporting to the Quality Manager and become an integral part of the team. In return, you'll receive a competitive salary, 33 days of annual leave, training, support and progression.

Quality Inspector duties include -

• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of components during first-off and final inspections.
• Inspect products and verify certifications during goods receipt.
• Maintain records related to inspection activities.
• Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) in accordance with AS9102 standards.

We'd love to hear from you if you have the following -

• Proficient in accurately interpreting customer drawings and specifications.
• Well-versed in manufacturing route cards and process instructions.
• Experience in inspection procedures to determine product dimensions and tolerances.
• Skilled in using various standard measuring equipment, including micrometers, verniers, shadowgraphs and hard gauging.
• Capable of performing inspection activities with minimal supervision and effectively working as part of a team.
• Flexible with shift patterns
