Lead Modelling Engineer

Duration: 12 months

Location: Bristol or Stevenage

Full time on site, option for compressed 4-day week

Rate: £75 ph Umbrella

SC Clearance required

Our client is looking for Modelling Engineers to join the delivery team undertaking simulation, modelling and validation activities. The work covers simulation and modelling of the entire RF Seeker chain from radar propagation, hardware response, to the embedded software algorithms on-board the Seeker. These algorithms are developed in and auto-coded directly from the models, allowing for rapid test, iterate, and delivery of sophisticated defence capability.

Key Skillset

Essential:

  • Modelling and coding
  • Algorithm development
  • Data analysis
  • Simulation validation experience
  • Technical report writing

Desirable:

  • Radar or radar processing knowledge
  • Background in RF, physics & signal processing
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and development of models in Simulink
  • Model verification and validation, configuration control and model release processes
  • Continuous Integration and Testing
