Job Title: Heavy Maintenance Team LeaderPay rate: £43k per annumJob Location: BristolShifts: Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30 Days Duration: PermanentStart Dates: ASAPIndustries Considered: We welcome applicants from Rolling Stock, Aviation, Plant, Automotive, HGV, PCV, Marine, Armed Forces and other similar backgroundsPosition Summary:Implementation and maintenance of safety systems, production efficiency and quality output at the relevant ATC Depot site.Operate (drive) rail vehicles as required, within depot operating limits, and in accordance with all relevant operating proceduresEnsuring the compliance of the teams working to VMI's, VOI's and ATC work instructionsLiaising with Project Engineers to ensure efficient work programmes are implemented and the resolution of technical problemsAssisting the training department in the development of competence assessments for Team MembersEnsuring the safety and wellbeing of all relevant personnelImplementation of customer requirementsMentoring and coaching of Team Members to ensure that they fulfil their job requirements and have the relevant training to do soAssisting with continuous improvement innovationsEnsuring work locations are fit for purpose and compliant with relevant standardsMaintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresEnsuring the safe movement of vehicles whilst complying with the Safe Method Of Work procedureEnsuring that team members are up to date with business communicationsKey Responsibilities will include:Implementation and maintenance of safety systems, production efficiency and quality output at the relevant Depot site. Carry out work as allocated within set timescales and to the recognised standards.Ensuring the wellbeing of all relevant personnelManging the team roster to ensure minimum service levels are maintained. Conducting probation reviews, RTWs, 1 to 1s and absence reporting when required. Implementation of customer requirements.Production of meaningful KPI's for internal and external monitoringMentoring and coaching of Team Members to ensure that they fulfil their job requirements and have the relevant training to do so.Ensure team member work in line with procedures, any relevant VMI's & local instructions.Carry out any duties within your level of competence as requested by the Depot Manager.Assisting with continuous improvement innovationsEnsuring work locations are fit for purpose and compliant with relevant standards.Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.Responsible for the effective recording of activity in accordance with Company, Customer and best practice Standards.Ensuring that team members are up to date with business communications.Responsible for the effective and prompt recording of activity in accordance with Company, Customer and best practice Standards (both on worksheets and electronically) as defined by the customer.
