Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Project Manager you will:

  • Develop the overall design of the modular plant, considering cost, risk, and timelines.
  • Establish and manage system specifications, ensuring all technical requirements are met.
  • Lead technical and system reviews to ensure design and operational criteria are achieved.
  • Analyse and manage change requests, assessing their impact on the project scope and timeline.
  • Integrate lessons learned from past projects to improve technical solutions.
  • Coordinate the configuration and integration of systems, ensuring smooth operation.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure technical consistency across project activities.
  • Collaborate with the project control team to align costs, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Represent the company in technical discussions with stakeholders and authorities.
  • Plan for all project stages, from design to decommissioning, ensuring long-term project success


Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • A degree in process engineering, industrial engineering or mechanical engineering
  • 10 years' experience in design engineering
  • You will come from a heavy industrial facility i.e. plant, lab, reactors, manufacturing
  • 5 years' experience of technical management
