Bennett & Game are delighted to represent a well-established, multi-disciplinary Top 150 consultancy based in Bristol, with national coverage through 10 offices, are currently seeking an ambitious Director to join their expanding team. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a background in Building Surveying, Project Management, or Quantity Surveying who is passionate about driving the Bristol office forward.

They work across a diverse range of projects, spanning Residential, Education, Ministry of Justice (MOJ), Commercial, and Public Sector developments.

Director Job Overview
  • Oversee daily operations across various departments, ensuring efficiency and optimal resource allocation.
  • Play an integral role in expanding and developing the Bristol office (currently a team of 15).
  • Contribute to the company's operational strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and expand client relationships and frameworks.
  • Represent the company at networking events to enhance brand visibility and business opportunities.
  • Ensure the business achieves its targets, mission statements, and strategic objectives.
  • Lead key client commissions and frameworks, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Work closely with other senior management team members to coordinate business development initiatives.
  • Report directly to Executive Directors on business development, marketing strategies, and planned activities.
Director Job Requirements
  • Strong background in Project Management, Building Surveying, or Quantity Surveying within a consultancy environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage resources, and drive team performance
  • A commercially astute individual with the ability to identify new revenue opportunities and maximise existing client relationships.
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Excellent financial acumen, including a solid understanding of fee management and cost control.
  • Experienced in recruitment, selection, and team development.
  • Proven ability to lead teams on complex, large-scale projects across multiple offices and disciplines.
