Project Manager - Civil Engineering

Salary: 拢60,000 - 拢70,000 per annum

Location: South-West

My client are a leading civils contractor within the South-West region, and due to an expanded portfolio of works, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team. This role is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to get involved with busy highways projects and make an impact on the work they do.
Responsibilities:
路Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organisational objectives.
路Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring resources are effectively allocated.
路Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
路Conduct regular progress reviews, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective measures as needed.
路Prepare and present detailed project reports, documentation, and updates for stakeholders.
路Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring project objectives are met.
路Apply advanced project management methodologies and best practices to drive efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
路A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with a proven track record in managing civil engineering projects.
路Experience on highways projects within the area.
路Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
路Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with experience managing project teams.
路Proven expertise in project planning, risk management, and budgeting within the construction or civil engineering sector.
路Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and Microsoft Office Suite.
路Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
路A commitment to delivering projects to high standards, on time, and within budget.

Package:
路Salary: 拢60,000 - 拢70,000 per annum (depending on experience).
