The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead and oversee the successful delivery of high-rise residential projects working for a Main Contractor. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will manage project lifecycles, ensure quality, and foster collaboration among multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of high-rise residential apartment projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and design teams.
- Oversee compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and site teams.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring proactive problem-solving.
- Drive innovation and value engineering to maximize project outcomes.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Director, or in a similar senior leadership role, with a Main Contractor.
- A solid background in construction project management, with an emphasis on large-scale residential buildings.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to inspire and coordinate teams.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Knowledge of UK building regulations, health & safety standards, and sustainable practices.
