Project management of decommissioning of a substantial industrial (Polymers) facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of the works and ensuring that safe systems of work are in place at all times in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Management of interfaces between Operating Team, engineers, consultants and contractors and their various packages of work.
Assessment of RAMs and method statements for all site activities and the coordination for approval or improvements.
Input into the contracting of works and application of the contractual terms and obligations.
Input into the planning and scheduling of the activities and maintaining progress against programme.
Input into cost estimation and cost tracking of the works to prepare timely budgets and forecasts.
Profile;
Project manager experienced in the installation and/or decommissioning of complex process plant.
Direct site management/supervisory experience involving multiple trades and disciplines.
Knowledge of methods of safe isolation, lifting/hoisting methods, hotwork and heavy material logistical requirements.
Ability to plan ahead, risk assess activities and prioritise issues.
Ability to communicate at all levels, solve dilemmas and use influence to achieve a preferred outcome.
Experience with MS Office suite tools for managing costs, programme, reporting and communications.
