Cegeka UK (formerly CTG UK) are currently on the look-out for an experienced Project Manager, on behalf of our central government client. Sitting inside of IR35, this role will involve collaborating with a an agile team to develop a next-generation support solution for the department's current field-based hardware. If you have a demonstratable track record of managing complex defence industry-facing projects, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of a complex organizational programme from start up to use case creation
  • Coordinate project specialist approval activities and set priorities to align with project targets.
  • Responsible for ensuring the project objectives for schedule, cost, risk and quality are met.
  • Responsible for the preparation and presentation of all approval artefacts in conjunction with specialist subject matter experts.
  • Define and promote formal communication methods and establishing open and consistent communication within the team, with the PMO and management.


Requirements:
  • Experience of leading Project Delivery in a defence sector environment
  • UK maritime experience
  • Comfortable working in sensitive project delivery environment, have an understanding of the assurance and scrutiny requirements required and able to work through delivery friction at pace
  • Evidence of ability to deliver programme and project milestones against demanding performance, cost and time constraints
  • APMP, MSP or Prince2 certification
