Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Bristol

We are looking for a passionate and committed psychology or criminology graduates to join a fantastic SEN School as SEMH Teaching Assistant. This role is perfect for a Psychology or Criminology graduate aspiring to become an Educational Psychologist. You will play a vital role in supporting students with SEMH needs, helping them overcome learning barriers and achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to explore both the SEN and Mental Health sectors, helping you advance your career as an Aspiring Educational Psychologist while gaining invaluable experience.

Are you:

In this role, you will:

  • Work with classes of 6-8 pupils, based on ability
  • Work closely with therapists, SEN specialists, and mental health professionals.

  • Assist students with a variety of learning needs, particularly those with Autism, focusing on both academic and personal development.

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree and/or prior experience in SEN - ideal for Criminology and Psychology graduates.
  • A strong interest in mental health and Autism.
  • Knowledge of or a keen interest in learning and behavioural needs, particularly SEMH.
