Job Scope:

We are seeking a Head of Operations to lead our client's health and social care services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support across care homes and retirement villages. As the Head of Operations, you will oversee the strategic and operational performance, driving excellence and aligning services with the clients mission and values.

The Head of Operations will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, aspiring for Good or Outstanding ratings. You will lead and mentor General Managers and service leads, fostering a culture of compassion and excellence.

Financial and operational performance will fall under your remit, managing budgets, optimizing occupancy, and driving efficiency to maintain high-quality care. As the Head of Operations, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives through service reviews, audits, and action plans to enhance care delivery and resident wellbeing.Collaboration will be key in this role, working closely with key teams and external stakeholders to influence the future of health and social care at our client's home.

Do you have?

  • Demonstrated history of leading multiple care services, consistently achieving outstanding outcomes.
  • Ability to align operational delivery with long-term goals, coupled with strong financial management skills, including budgeting and performance analysis.
  • An extensive knowledge of Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations, health and social care legislation, and adherence to best practices.
  • Proven experience in developing staff capabilities, fostering a culture of collaboration, and maintaining accountability within teams.
