Finance Business Partner - Hybrid Role (2 Days a Week in the Office - Just outside Bristol - easy access from motorways)

What's the role about?
As a Finance Business Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the UK Lending Senior Leadership Team by providing strategic financial insights that drive decision-making. You'll also be responsible for managing monthly closings, forecasting, and reporting, as well as optimising cash flow and helping identify cost-saving opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with senior leadership to provide actionable financial insights and drive business performance.
- Managing month-end closing processes, forecasting, and ensuring financial data accuracy.
- Developing engaging dashboards and reports to make financial data clear and accessible to operational teams.
- Preparing executive summaries and financial reports for Group-level leadership.
- Overseeing budget preparation, performance tracking, and variance analysis.
- Leading cost control initiatives and identifying opportunities for operational efficiency's.
Cross-functional responsibilities:
- Designing dashboards aligned with Group strategy and accounting standards.
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies and best practices.
- Overseeing financial processes including accounts payable, expense claims, and cash flow management.
- Collaborating with both local and Group auditors on reporting and financial controls.
What are we looking for?
We're after a seasoned Finance Business Partner or Management Accountant with strong finance business partnering experience.
Desired experience:
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering role
- Qualified or actively studying towards a finance qualification
- Ability to work independently while influencing senior stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills; Power BI experience is a plus!
