In the UK we are currently over 400 strong and our plans are to grow to 500 by 2025 through the development our UK nuclear service offerings.

Due to our ongoing growth and expansion of our Supply Chain team, we are looking to recruit a full time, Buyer on 6 months FTC.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the main responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Manage RFQ / support Tenders.
  • Evaluate offers and raise purchase orders.
  • Support in categorization of existing suppliers (both indirect and direct procurements)
  • Liaise with Operations and other internal departments to identify internal stakeholders requirements.
  • Source new suppliers based on provided specification.
  • Negotiate, create, and maintain Supplier agreements.
  • Support market analysis
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance.
  • Prepare reports.

To be considered, we require the following skills and experience:

  • Commercial/ technical degree bachelor level or above
  • CIPS 4 or working towards it.
  • Purchasing experience (essential)
  • Experience in manufacturing or construction setting required.
  • SAP experience required.
  • Experience of working with the following categories is a plus (Industrial tooling, scaffolding, lifting, calibration, raw material)
  • Good IT skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
This position will be based in Avonmouth with hybrid working available.
