Their goal is to create a supportive and engaging environment where tenants can thrive.Your new roleWorking in partnership with cross-functional teams comprising of group wide operational and management colleagues from within the organisation and associated subsidiaries ensuring they're fully equipped to deliver against operational targets. You will proactively analyse designated areas of spend through effective use of project management, considering opportunity and risk, to establish a contracting pipeline fully aligned to the needs and priorities of operational teams to maximise best value. Applying a standard approach to research supply markets ensuring current knowledge and understanding of existing offerings, innovations, cost drivers and other required factors whilst supporting the development of an inclusive and progressive approach to value for money, incorporating ESG and social value.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including internal customers, suppliers, and other third-party organisations.
  • Being a fairly greenfield environment, you will identify procurement improvement opportunities, make recommendations and lead or support implementation as required.
  • Vast opportunity to make real savings, build Procurement process and implement strategy.
  • You will be operating independently across the business as the Procurement expert within the company.
  • Procurement is a new focus area, so the role has the ability to build your own best practice.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Establishing a collaborative approach to procurement will rely on keen project management skills to lead strategy development, manage multiple projects simultaneously and engage operational teams in ongoing contract management.
  • Requires the ability to act as a trusted advisor across procurement categories, including advising business areas on market trends, procurement strategy options, best practice tendering, contract award, implementation, and management.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of category areas such as Utilities, FM or Maintenance
  • Must be IT literate and be able to analyse data and use Microsoft Suite applications.
  • Must be able to commute to Bristol office each week
