- Experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain role (preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Knowledge of procurement software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing data and documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet tight deadlines
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
- Assisting with the procurement of materials, components, and services as required
- Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotes, place orders, and ensure timely deliveries
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting in inventory management to avoid shortages
- Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier details
- Supporting the negotiation of prices and contracts to achieve cost savings
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
