Your new roleReporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, this dynamic and multifaceted role involves providing expert procurement advice and support across the Indirects category. The role focuses on ensuring value for money through strategic sourcing and competitive tendering, driving category strategy, and fostering effective supplier and operational relationships to optimise performance and minimise supply chain risk.Additionally, the role will support the SME lead in the implementation of Oracle Fusion, including supplier communications and engagement, creation of supplier catalogs, punchouts, and data cleansing. This position offers valuable experience in addressing the challenges and requirements of implementing a new sourcing solution.
- The sourcing and commercial support across IT, FM and any other significant operational category spend as required.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships.
- Provide expert and commercial advice to the team and business stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
- Knowledge of procurement processes, specifically Supplier Relationship Management and Contracts Management is desirable.
- Strong desire to learn and develop in the Procurement/Supply Chain areas.
- Must have experience with tendering indirect categories, running mini competition and contract negotiations.
- Must be able to travel to Bristol at least once per week, in some instances more, so only South West candidates will be considered.
