Tremendous opportunity to join Lancer Scott Facilities Management and work alongside on of our key partners. This is a newly created role, created to support an existing team due to increasing workload.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- To provide a high quality, commercially focussed quantity surveying function to the delivery team.
- Provide accurate measurement of works
- Estimating, paying particular attention to time allocation and materials.
- Accurate valuation of works and variations
- Detailed cost analysis
- Management of the commercial rates, ensuring that colleagues and contractors use the relevant rates and agreed evaluation methods.
- Analysis and financial management of all contracts.
Youll need to have [essential]:
- Comprehensive knowledge of schedule of rates, work valuation methods and principles.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- An ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to team success.
Youll ideally have [desirable]:
- Experience in a similar role with an understanding of Housing Associations.
