A leading Building Services Provider working in affordable housing and the public sector are now recruiting for a Junior Quantity Surveyor for their Bristol office.

The role is to work with the busy Commercial team of Quantity Surveyors, Buyers and Estimators, providing the day to day commercial administration of contracts as assigned to include full invoicing, cost reconciliation and reporting responsibility.

The role will include Measure and value work for contracts assigned, ensuring margins are within agreed.

Timely and accurate composition and production of applications, invoices and final accounts.

Commercial reporting

Dealing with disputes and resolving invoice queries.

Carry out measurement, application, agree/resolve disputes, invoice, and resolve invoice queries to convert from WIP through to cash.

Effective application of cost control procedures.

Ensuring that the administration of Sub-contracts is compliant

Supporting the Contract Manager at all times with commercial detail and information as required.

Actively participate in monthly WIP review meetings.

Experience in maintenance or social housing world be an advantage, but the client is keen to speak to candidates seeking to build a career in Quantity Surveying.
