Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are currently assisting a leading regional main contractor based in Bristol in their search for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team. The business has grown from strength to strength in recent years, having opened the Bristol office around 5 years ago. Their project portfolio is diverse and includes projects across the commercial, social housing, education and healthcare sectors valuing up to 15mil. The business has ambitious growth plans, and is looking for committed individuals to be part of that progress.

About the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be working within the commercial team, reporting into a Senior Quantity Surveyor. You will be responsible for assisting with various Surveying duties, including procurement, managing your own packages and contributing to monthly CVRs. There is plenty of scope to progress within this role.

Key Responsibilities as Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

Involvement in pre-construction activities
Procurement of various sub-contract packages
Dealing with variations
Assisting in completing monthly CVRs

Key Requirements for this Assistant Quantity Surveyor role:

Either HNC or Construction related degree
At least 2 years' experience in the Quantity Surveying role
Experience with JCT forms of contract will be beneficial
Be an ambitious and driven individual
Have the full right to work in the UK and be happy to commute to Bristol / sites as required
