Your new company

We are partnering with a Regional Construction company specialising in the delivery of a wide range of projects across the Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Highways, Industrial, Flood Defence and Water sectors. With a strong workbook across the South West and particularly in Bristol, they are looking to hire Quantity Surveyors from Assistant through to Senior across multiple schemes. Your new role

As part of the commercial team, you will ensure the financial success of projects up to the value of circa £20m. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following

  • To work as a member of the team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget to a very high standard.
  • Monthly CVR reporting
  • Sub-contractor management of payments / accounts
  • Review of commercial gains / losses available to ensure commercial success of the project
  • Work closely with the site team, client and professional consultants to understand the progress of the project
  • Procurement and management of the supply chain

What you'll need to succeed

  • Civil Engineering background preferable
  • Proven experience delivering projects across the civil / infrastructure / energy sectors
  • Experience in NEC & JCT contracts.
  • Strong procurement, budgeting, forecasting and reporting skills
  • Excellent IT, analytical and negotiation skills
  • Ability to compile a CVR
