Role Description

The Resolute Group are working with a national infrastructure contractor who has secured two additional long term framework contracts to assist the expansion of the commercial team with a Quantity Surveyor.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial process from administration to the management of the infrastructure contracts. You will drive efficiencies, manage costs and take control of all financial aspects of projects and contractual compliance.

Day to day duties will vary but could include:

  • Produce and review commercial forecasts, Cost Value Reconciliation (CVRs) and Project Finance Reports.
  • Take responsibility for Subcontract Management, including Subcontract Forecasting, raising Subcontractor Orders and Negotiating Subcontract terms.
  • Place subcontract orders, agreement and certification of subcontract valuations, invoice, subcontract payments and final account agreements.
  • Prepare and submit interim valuations and payment applications to clients, along with the agreement of final accounts.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Quantity Surveying degree desirable / certification or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years estimating experience
  • Sound knowledge of NEC contracts
  • Civil engineering or infrastructure background (Essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
