About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to oversee 2-3 residential construction projects at various stages of development. The successful candidate will manage projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring cost efficiency and contractual compliance. This role offers a blend of on-site presence and office work, with opportunities for hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all financial aspects of assigned projects from inception to completion.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide cost advice.
  • Negotiate contracts and procurement of subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress and control expenditures.
  • Prepare and present financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the residential construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation and project management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel to various sitesacross Bristol and the neighbouring areas
