I am currently recruiting on behalf of a 5-starnationalhousing developer who are based within the South West regional offices. They build across various parts of the South West, including Bristol, Bath and Wiltshire, and have a stable landbank. They hold an excellent reputation in the market, and now is an exciting journey to grow with them and develop to become an integral part of the team. They now seek a quantity surveyor to join the team on a permanent basis. This would be an office-based role with having to visit sites on the odd occasions where required.

You will be employed as a quantity surveyor on a full-time basis, working Monday-Friday, office-based role. The package on offer is between 60-70k p/a DOE + car/allowance + bonus. Your day-to-day responsibilities include: pricing, estimating, reports, costs, managing orders, chairing meetings, meeting with external clients, final accounts, CVR's, overseeing projects from start to finish, reporting in to commercial manager and to identify and analyse risks.

You must have a construction surveying degree, or an academic equivalent. You must have experience as a quantity surveyor, and must have experience within the housing sector of construction. Ideally, somebody with high volume house building experience desired. You must be pro-active, able to hit the ground running, be punctual, have strong communication skills and overall, very well organised and disciplined. They are looking for somebody who can work at a fast pace and offer guidance on methods improvements as they continue to grow. They require somebody who is dynamic and accepts a challenge head on.
