About the Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring value for money and compliance with budget and contract requirements. You’ll work closely with clients, project managers, and contractors, contributing to successful project delivery from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.

  • Negotiate contracts and work closely with contractors and suppliers to achieve the best value for money.

  • Monitor project costs, identify potential savings, and advise on cost-effective alternatives.

  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.

  • Provide ongoing advice on procurement, variations, and contract disputes.

  • Attend site meetings and liaise with key stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction or property sector.

  • A strong understanding of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.

  • Familiarity with UK building regulations, project delivery, and construction methods.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (RICS accreditation is highly desirable).

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
