My client are looking for an enthusiastic Quantity Surveyor to play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional projects over the next two years. This is a brand new role for the business and is allowing them to develop their internal team to help progress their experience and expertise.

Description

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects and drive excellence in every aspect of Quantity Surveying. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Project Budget Management: Collaborate with the Project Accountant to prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring smooth monthly updates and accurate financial forecasting.
  • Diverse Projects: Be part of prestigious high-end residential developments, with occasional involvement in commercial projects.
  • Cash flow Expertise: Prepare detailed monthly and 10-year cash flow plans, ensuring financial clarity and precision.
  • Contracts & Agreements: Negotiate and finalise contractor and sub-contractor agreements, securing the best outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise effectively with insurers, contractors, and project teams to maintain seamless communication.
  • Valuations & Payments: Prepare and review valuations, benchmark payments, and drive value for money at every stage.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to Health & Safety regulations while improving reporting standards to enhance transparency and efficiency.

  • Qualifications & Experience: Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying with a proven track record in managing complex, high-value projects.
